Leicester Bike Park

These studies showed that in addition to the need for safe cycle routes, the lack of secure bike parking and Leicester Bike Park changing facilities for commuters were barriers preventing people from cycling. The Bike Park will be operated by Groundwork Leicester and Leicestershire bike from May 2009. The Leicester Bike Park is a bicycle Leicester Bike Park parking facility in Leicester Town Hall, Great Britain.

No services will be affected. Coordinates: 52°38′01″N 1°07′58″W / 52.6337°N 1.1328°W / 52.6337; -1.1328 . It is the Bicycle trailer largest secure park in the UK, with 120 spaces. Other facilities include showers, changing facilities, lockers, bike/trailer cycle trailer hire (April-August), repair workshop and the Leicester Bike Park only Brompton Bicycle dealer in the city. The Bike Park was developed as the result of research into public attitudes to cycling, carried out by GWLL in the 1990s.

It is managed by the City Council, Environ and Webster’s Cycles, and opened 1997.
